Dixie County Historical Society

We are a small county located between two rivers, the Steinhatchee River on our west, and the Suwannee River on our east.  We also have the Gulf of Mexico to our south, and Lafayette County to the north.

This web site was created to help keep the memories of this small county and the people that helped form it alive and available for people to learn and carry in their hearts.

Please come and visit often.  Every few months we will have something new to learn, share and remember.
